Welcome To Prairie Potter
Paul & Sandi are The Prairie Potter. We participate mainly in living history events such as rendezvous and festivals and art shows. Paul is a functional potter and Sandi is a hand builder and does the decorating of the pottery. We do both high and low-fired Pottery. The designs used to decorate our pottery for living history events are taken from many sources, antiques and museum pieces both in the United States, England and Scotland. A specialty of The Prairie Potter is "pit-fired pottery". Because we work out of our home we do not have a showroom, but have included some of our most requested items on this web site.
